This modest Glendale home, which began as a conventional Colonial-influenced Ranch in 1953, was married in 1960 to a Modern rear addition by Glendale-based Woodie Garber. The addition was barely noticeable until architect Fritz Kuhlmann skillfully unified these disparate parts by bringing a Modernist aesthetic to the front. Join us for a first peek at the resulting home with color commentary by cf3 member Fritz Kuhlmann, and Glendale Planning & Historic Preservation Commission member and architectural historian Beth Sullebarger.
