Spring Grove Village 1955 Modest Midcentury Modern in Progress
Come see the early stages of a sensitive #retrorestovation of a modest MCM project house designed by John E. Jones architect and owned by Susan & Arlen Rissover. This house had been cared for in some ways, and neglected in others. When the Rissovers bought it last week, it had been rented for years and was in need of a major intervention. Their intention is to keep what they can, restore the good parts, and renovate what is necessary. The aesthetics have been relatively untouched for 64 years! This will be a masterclass in best practices for MCM renovation with the team of cf3 experts to answer questions and take your suggestions.
Parking at the house is tight, so we are limiting the event to 15 cars, which will be blocking each other in. When you RSVP, you will be unable to account for guests, but please note that they are welcome to attend as long as they carpool with you. The event is only 1 hour so everyone can arrive and leave at the same time. Because it is an active construction site, no food or drink will be served.
