UC Campus Architecture Walking Tour

Relics, A Tour of a Modernist Campus Past:

To date, much of the University of Cincinnati’s masterplan and signature architecture program has been implemented.   With the wide range of new buildings that have been constructed across campus, some Mid-Century Modern buildings have survived.  Please join us for a walking tour of the main campus to examine and discuss the modern relics that remain. Patrick Snadon, Emeritus School of Architecture and Interior Design, and Elizabeth Meyer,  Head Librarian DAAP Library will help guide our tour.  

We will meet at 10am at the main entrance to DAAP on Clifton Court entry (Blue Box from bridge) and proceed north toward the Langsam Library for a clockwise circuit around main campus.  Please plan to wear comfortable shoes and be prepared for Cincinnati weather, the tour will proceed rain, snow, or shine.  The tour will last approximately 2 hours, after wards cf3 participants are welcome to view the DAAP Library drawing collection if you missed the summer event.
