Salvaging the 1953 Testerman House (by architect Benjamin Dombar)

John Cowan, owner of Somerset Custom Homes, is a lifelong Frank Lloyd Wright fan, so finding a Dombar home on 14 acres in Lebanon in 2017 was a dream come true! But it was also a challenge, since the home had sat abandoned for 7 years and was slated for demolition. He used the original home plans and his skill as a builder to not only reconstruct the house but the history of the home. The Cowan family's top to bottom renovation of the home, now known as ’Testerman Rewound,’ has been a true labor of love.
