The Collection

Sherri and Geoffrey Woolf’s Fisher-Price toy collection contains over 50 significant pieces and hundreds of accessories from the toymaker’s heydey (1952-1979). The collection, which started with Little People Playsets from Sherri’s childhood, includes early wooden pull toys, plastic molded buildings and vehicles, and a variety of other pieces that reflect F-P founder Herman Fisher’s “Five-Point Creed,” placing emphasis upon intrinsic play-value, ingenuity, strong construction, action, and value for the dollar.

The House

This Midcentury luxury home in the heart of Kenwood was designed and built by architect A.J. Martina in 1951 for his own family.  There is extensive use of terrazzo, stone, slate, brick and tile in this two story MCM with lower level walkout.  The Wolfs purchased the home in 2014 from the second owner, who had been there since 1955!  They have spent the past 4 years putting their own spin on it while enjoying the vintage features and super convenient location.
