Interesting opportunity for cf3 members to weigh in on a house pre-renovation! Susan and Arlen Rissover just purchased an investment property, a 98% original 1956 MCM home built by Stuart Faber, the son of the inventor of Formica. They are looking for input from cf3 members to get ideas of what should stay and what should go. Current features of this modest but unique home:

• Custom Formica built-ins in every room

• Jalousie windows throughout

• Original kitchen and bathrooms

• Custom built in Formica daybed/album storage in Rec Room

People often look at homes like this, and the first reaction is “It needs so much work!!” But does it? We want to find out from people who know best! And of course, a follow-up post renovation coffee chat will be scheduled so everyone can see the results!
