Docomomo Tour Day 2024 takes place throughout the month of October. The only national event of its kind, Tour Day is an annual celebration of modern architecture and design where the public and like-minded organizations across the country participate in a tour or event. This year’s theme focuses on Corporate Campuses — examining suburban corporate architecture and expansive designs on the edge of more urban cores, their peaks and valleys. cf3 is a friend member of Docomomo USA and is excited to partner with Formica for this year’s tour day!

Formica, founded in Cincinnati, recently celebrated its 110-year anniversary. Known for revolutionizing the world of kitchens, bathrooms, diners, offices, schools, and so much more, its humble origins grew to the international company it is today. Tour the plant, see Formica made, and hear the journey of their iconic designs, and where the company is headed next.

• Date: Friday, October 4th 10-12
• Registration is limited and required
• Deadline for registration: September 26th by 5:00PM
• Please check your calendar to make sure you can and will attend this Friday date!
• There will not be a waiting list

• Formica requires all attendees to sign and return an NDA to Formica before the tour. This will be sent in advance via email to everyone attending. If you have a guest, we must have their email upon registration as well. Anyone who does not return an NDA, will not be admitted for the event.
• The tour of the plant is about 1 hour. Tours are in several groups. There are things to hear and view while you wait for your tour to leave!
• Closed toe shoes are required.
